Once a small fishing village, Kuala Terengganu is now a developing city where skyscrapers often stand shoulder to shoulder with traditional kampong-style houses.
On the 9th (Tue), hunt for treasures at Pasar Payang, then take a stroll through Kampung China (Chinatown), and then enjoy the sand and surf at Penarik Beach. Keep things going the next day: browse the different shops at Mydin Mall, stop by Noor Arfa Craft Complex, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Crystal Mosque.
