Once a small fishing village, Kuala Terengganu is now a developing city where skyscrapers often stand shoulder to shoulder with traditional kampong-style houses.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Wed): take a stroll through Kampung China (Chinatown), then browse the eclectic array of goods at Pasar Payang, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Masjid Sultan Zainal Abidin.
