Enjoy the clean sand and clear waters at Redang Island, a large island and protected marine park off the east coast. Explore the numerous coral reefs surrounding the island at a host of popular dive sites. The beaches also offer opportunities to view sea turtles landing at night and laying their eggs on the shore. A paradisal place with a good tourist infrastructure that doesn't spoil the scenery, the island enjoys a tropical climate. However, it is affected by a severe monsoon season, with many resorts closed between November and February, ferry crossings restricted and, at times, unadvisable. This island is very stunning and spectacular... truly proud to have this island belong to Malaysia.. the beach is clean and well maintain, and not over exploited... only one or two stretch of this...

As a getaway from reality or for keen snorkellers or divers, this is an ideal spot. It's about a 40 minute transfer from the mainland.

Please take note, best date to go to Redang Island is on Mid of March (10th and later) until End of September .Redang Island is CLOSE from October until February because of northeast monsoon winds. Redang Island for me is in Top 10 list best & beautiful & must visit island in Malaysia. It takes around 1 hour 30minutes maybe from Kuala Besut Jetty to Redang Island. From Marang Jetty to Redang Island only takes 30 minutes. Don't forget to bring Ice Box Storage 10L or bigger with ice cubes inside with drinks if you are about to do snorkeling, swimming & diving journey to some places with boat captain. Place your Food and Baverages on the boat. You may get hungry and DEHYDRATION because of water activities. Bring your own snorkeling goggles for best experience. Boat captain's provided snorkeling goggles, but i think their goggles is little dirty and not be clean up properly. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is WEAR YOUR SAFETY LIFE JACKET CORRECTLY and PROPERLY!! Enjoy your holidays~. #Visit Malaysia , #Cuti-Cuti Malaysia , #Terengganu Kita , #Ganu Kite
A very systematic and organised hotel that could accommodate large crowd without a mess. Registration process was smooth and efficient. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Only basic stuffs were provided. Foods were served in quantity, not quality, enough to fill your tummy. Snorkelling trip was safe as few life guards followed along and using big boats. However, the snorkelling spot under package was not interesting. Coral was not nice and nothing much to see. This resort is very suitable for family vacation where you plan to bring elderly and kids for snorkelling. Overall,it is still a nice and cozy hotel.
