Jonker Street Night Market
Stroll through the crowds of Jonker Street Night Market, the bustling heart of Malacca's Chinatown. With historical buildings dating back to 17th-century Dutch colonialism, the street has long been a center of trade and commerce. Now attracting an international crowd with its antiques, textiles, foods, and souvenirs, the road has adapted to recent global attention with a wide range of bars, cafes, and restaurants added to its mix of businesses. Various temples, mosques, and museums are located along the strip, creating a vibrant, atmospheric, and educational cultural district. Beautiful street with very old style architecture. People say it’s boring to stay here for more than couple of days but we had a lovely time staying here for over a week and could have stayed even...

Enjoyed walking around and visiting the quaint little shops along the street. Better to walk as there are many people here and parking spot is very limited.

A paradise for food lovers. The night market opens on weekends in the evenings. Quite a lot of cafes and small restaurants line the street but the night market experience is the best. You can shop for knick knacks on the streets while enjoying an impressive variety of snacks. The lanes get very crowded as night progresses, so visiting with kids is a little tricky.

Nice place for late night walk, but food/souvenirs are kind of pricy, as expected of a tourist spot. Overall, it has a nice ambience and many shops are open despite MCO greatly affecting the shops in 2020. Would recommend to take a stroll for the beautiful view and historical architecture.
