  • We were staying on Jalan Tokong (Temple St in English, I guess) and there are a few temples here. This one is the Chinese temple which is a few hundred years old. I don't normally review temples though this one is very nice (ornate, functional, right atmosphere) but found a little altar at the side and discovered something new. There's such a thing as a Tiger God, and its altar is usually hidden or under the usual altar table. I found this very interesting (cute!) so see the pictures.
  • Known as the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia. gathering place for early migrants who came over from China. nice decoration within temple, renovated before not too long ago. temple in very good condition despite the age.
