Create an itinerary including Bako National Park
Adventure across the changing terrain of Bako National Park to discover a huge diversity of plant and animal life. Take one of the 16 well-marked walking trails through rainforest, over rocky headlands, through carved sea arches, and along stretches of white, sandy beach. Perhaps the most famous inhabitants remain the 150 endangered proboscis monkeys that make their home here, although the long-tailed macaque, Bornean bearded pig, and monitor lizards may well disagree with that. • Amazing experience for nature lovers...when you reach there you will be given a map of the national park with all its hiking trails... you have so many options...I remember I hiked to the middle of jungle to a beautiful waterfall and I jumped into the water and I cannot even describe how wonderful it was after 2 3 hours of hiking under the sun...the hiking trails are marked by painting on the trees and it is not that difficult to find your way in the jungle...you don't need a guide to do the hikes and you can even do it alone ... I strongly recommend it to people who are visiting Sarawak
  • It is a peninsula and a favourite spot for the tourists. Quite a number of animals are found in this peninsula such as bearded pigs, green vipers, probocis + macaque + silver leave monkeys, etc. Good place to do tracking and enjoy walking along the beaches. All the 7 types of mangroves in Sarawak are found here.
