Visit Central Market Kuala Lumpur, a famous retail and cultural center noted as a Malaysian Heritage Site. Founded in 1888, the iconic Art Deco building originally served the local community as a wet market selling meat and produce. Today it features a traditional stall layout with vendors selling everything from antiques to T-shirts. Head to the annex in the back of the building to see art galleries, performance areas, and shops selling arts and crafts. If you've worked up an appetite, the popular food court offers a range of delicious treats from across the world in a bustling and authentic setting. A "must have visited" place when in Kuala Lumpur. Fun to walk around, talk with polite vendors and maybe do a bargain. Foodstalls outside with fresh fruit, waffles and fruit juices.

This is the nicest place to buy anything a person wanted to buy such as souvenirs, batik clothes, Indian, Indonesian, Chinese & Malay dresses. There's so many things sold here. I bought five pieces of crystal bracelet from a crystal shop. I walked up on the 1st floor, there's a Food Court and more shops selling many type of products. Next vacation, I would like to visit this place again.

I thought it was closed for a renovation during the MCO and was looking forward to the new look but it still looks the same. Part of the ground floor is hoarded up. Although there are less shops now but still an interesting place to shop and enjoy the air conditioning. The kasturi walk outdoor is closed unfortunately. The lovely wau structures are still there. Years ago there were many local artists painting on the spot and selling their original master pieces there. It was my all time No. 1 tourist spot which i showed off to my oversea guests. Now there are mainly souvenir shops and a place to shop for handicraft gifts. I collect fridge magnets and i still shop for good bargains here. I used to lunch at the food court upstairs too. Now I parked here and eat at the many choices of shops nearby. Parking is quite limited though.
