  • A bit rundown. Nothing much to see for MYR2. Except for eatery next to it, Nasi Ulam Cikgu. The shop and art workshops were not working properly

  • Informative and well presented. The museum in the Handicrafts Village of Kota Bharu is one of the places worth visiting while in Kelantan. It gives a very good overview of Kelantanese Batik, its particularities and different patterns. As Malay custom requires, one needs to remove its shoes before entering the museum. The ticket price is very affordable and we feel money well invested. The main part of the museum is about Batik and its various patterns. The place showcases batik costumes as they would have been worn by different members of the society. Apart from Batik to museum showcases traditional Malay objects and artifacts. We spent about an hour in the museum and the adjacent buildings and found the place being informative, clean and well maintained.
  • Nice old buildings and worthwhile to just wonder around. Went around 10 am and only few shops open selling tourist souvenirs. Batik shop seems to take biggest space but only opens by 11 am. Museum is at first floor and no shoes allowed from staircase onward. Strange caution to carry your shoes around for safety. Staircase was dirty, therefore did not want to go up.
