Started and ended our climbing with a good weather, alhamdulillah all went well. could not make it to the top, too much of beautiful creatures along the way to take photos and videos, which worth the journey! We need to leave the mountain before 8am and check out from the rest house @2900metres. Definitely going to repeat the hike again!

A 4.3km trek from basecamp to summit via Mastan trail apin2. The ascending trek took about 3 hours 50mins and descending took about 3 hours back to basecamp. Perfect view with miky way and sunrise with Mount Kinabalu as the background. The temperature is below 10 degrees at summit, thus adequate attire is important while waiting for sunrise.
