Tristan Park Reviews
My family completed the Plentong Trail with three non-bikers in the group. We had three amazing guides who were attentive, very patient and friendly; they also shared their personal experiences with..... more »
We went as a group of 15 and I did not do much research, except being assured proper training will be given once we arrive as most of us do not hold a bike license. There was training provided but I..... more »
Don't let the bike shop fool you. The bikes are very poorly maintained. Non-functioning rear brakes and mashed pedals make it a tense ride! After raising this issues, the staff seem absolutely nonchalant. Frightening for the price you pay.
Fun dirt bike experience with great, caring crew. It was one of those hidden gem that never attempt social media but just focus on delivering good business. My friend discovered it and in the attempt to surprise my fiancee, I planned a trip and went with a few friends who had never ridden on a motor bike, not to mention trail biking. The staff was professional in assisting to arrange the trip with thorough information inclusive of recommended transportation on the website. We booked a van through the recommended agency and it was a super nice ride. The driver picked us up promptly at our requested pick-up location, the ride was smooth and we beat the custom queue since it was early. Upon arrival, we start working out our gear that we booked, and were transferred to the training circuit. Once we get comfortable in the training trails, we had 4 guides with 6 of us to wander further. The guides led us into a palm forrest, we had fun with the occasional bumps and mud puddles - yes, after all it's a dirt bike ride! The unexpected 30-min downpour made the trip even more exciting for us first riders, and the staff were attentive all helped me found a reason to come back to JB (Johor Bahru) after 5 years living in Singapore! On top of it, it was a surprise gift for my fiancee and he was thrilled to be able to experience it. I came back yesterday and have already recommended to quite a number of my friends to try. If you happen to have a few spare days when you visit in Singapore or looking for a fast exciting day-trip to get away from Singapore, this tops my first go-to list. Few things to note: 1) The company website is very extensive with all the equipment and facilities information, you will be able to find most of the resources and your questions answered. 2) This is trail motorbiking, don't go if you want a mani/pedi or stay in shade - be prepared to get muddy 3) As this is my first time driving a motorbike, we went on the easy trail. However, I was told by the guides that there are some very challenging ones. Experienced riders should find it fun. 4) Bear in mind that unless you are super confident, take 5 cm off the minimum height of the suggested bike. I did that and it was the perfect size for me. 5) ATV also available if you want the alternatives Otherwise, go with the flow and enjoy!
