  • It is definitely worth a visit. Although relatively small, the exhibits covered a wide range, including section on Tin mining. If you are into rocks and minerals, this place is perfect. Good for kids....  more

  • Small but very informative museum. Didn't expect a full blown museum that come with FREE entrance. My kids can relate back those minerals & rocks exhibition with Minecraft game. It's located within government office compound and the parking space are limited. Average time spend less than 1 hour, and may take longer if you want to read everything. Highly recommended to visit.
  • Very Informational place. Not too big just nice. Very quite and empty. There were no charges to enter the place. Helpful staff. Once coming out of the museum on your left will be another building. Enter the building and there will be a staircase to your left. Go down the staircase and you will arrive at another small information centre mainly about all the kinta valley geoparks. There are maps and books there too. There's also a library in the building but I did not enter. Overall quite a nice experience. And you will have to write down your name at the security guard place before entering the museum.
