  • We had a car so it was easy to get to - not sure it's worth walking to, though, if you don't have a vehicle. We were the only ones there.

  • Nice, simple temple, but needs a bit of TLC. A lot of construction materials lying around, and seems a little neglected… with loads of dogs lying around and Beware of the Dog signs (though they seemed totally docile and non-threatening if given distance). We arrived just before closing and so it was all pretty empty; there is nothing to do in terms of read and learn, so not a great tourist visit. But it has some impressive statutes and worth a 15 minute visit en route to somewhere else in the Brinchang area.
  • This is a lovely temple. As you would expect, it is serene and calming, despite the little puppies running around (watch where you step!). It is well maintained despite what other reviewers have stated. It is active too as worshippers (forgive this expression from a non-Buddhist!) were in attendance for most of our visit. There are a number of rooms to explore for you to be wowed by the extraordinary statues. I’d love it if, when uneducated foreigners like myself visit, we’d be offered assistance with a little bit of what each figure represents so that we’d leave with a little more understanding. Perhaps it’s just me!
